Gateway FEAST partners with various St. Louis area organizations to offer inclusive events for children with food allergies and their families, including our annual Gateway FEAST Food-Free Halloween Party, Circus Flora’s Peanut-Free Preview Night, and Peanut-Controlled Section Cardinals baseball games.

Life-threatening food allergies can make it difficult for kids to participate safely in events and activities where the foods they are allergic to may be present. Our allergy-friendly events offer kids with food allergies opportunities to have fun and feel included in a welcoming space with less worry.

Our events also provide a chance for families living with allergies to meet one another, and help raise public awareness about food allergies in the St. Louis area community.

Gateway FEAST Food-Free Halloween Party

Gateway FEAST’S Food-Free Halloween Party offers a safe, fun, inclusive way for kids with food allergies to celebrate Halloween with family and friends. Thanks to the generous support of our partners at St. Luke’s Hospital, we are able to host this annual allergy-friendly event at St. Luke’s Institute for Health Education.

Halloween crafts for kids

At the Gateway FEAST Food-Free Halloween Party, kids can trick-or-treat for food-free trinkets, play party games, and make Halloween crafts– all in an allergy-aware, food-free environment, designed to safely include ALL children with food allergies.

Peanut-Free Preview Night at Circus Flora

Gateway FEAST partners with Circus Flora to help make their annual Peanut-Free Preview Night safe and enjoyable for kids with peanut allergies and their families. On Peanut-Free Preview Night, the night before Circus Flora’s official opening night, no peanuts are served in the circus tent, and no outside food is allowed.

To help make this allergy-friendly event as safe and worry-free as possible for families managing food allergies, every year, Gateway FEAST serves in an advisory role to Circus Flora, and provides volunteers to carefully clean the entire Circus Flora seating area before the Peanut-Free Preview.

Peanut-Controlled Cardinals Baseball Games at Busch Stadium

Gateway FEAST worked with the St. Louis Cardinals and Busch Stadium to create an opportunity for children with life-threatening peanut allergies to experience Cardinals baseball games in a safer environment.

The Peanut Controlled Section, offered during certain special Peanut Controlled games at Busch Stadium, is a special seating section where peanuts are not allowed to be sold or eaten during the game.
